Loren Lunsford brings over two decades of experience in litigation, arbitration, and cross-border legal work. He advises clients on corporate structuring, business formation, intellectual property, international dispute resolution, and succession planning. A seasoned trial attorney, Loren has represented individuals and multinational corporations in both state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and multiple U.S. District Courts.
Loren’s goal is to help businesses manage risk, resolve disputes efficiently, and stay focused on long-term growth.
Before joining Martensen Wright PC, Loren founded and led The Lunsford Law Firm, where he counseled clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, and design, on matters spanning from contract disputes to international transactions. He holds a J.D. from Washington and Lee University and an LL.M. in International Law from the University of San Diego. He also studied abroad at Ludwig Maximilians Universität in Munich and speaks German.
As a Senior Attorney at Martensen Wright PC, Loren focuses on assisting European and international businesses with U.S. market entry and operations. His practice spans litigation strategy, corporate transactions, intellectual property, and international arbitration, all grounded in a client-first approach and deep understanding of the legal and cultural challenges foreign businesses face in the U.S.
Outside of his legal career, Loren enjoys a rich variety of personal interests. He is an avid hiker who finds solace in California’s natural beauty, especially along the coast and in the Sierra foothills. Loren has a deep appreciation for music, particularly classical and jazz, and he regularly attends live performances when he can. A lifelong lover of art, he devotes time to painting in watercolor, oil, and acrylic, and enjoys working with charcoal to capture light, form, and texture. Travel is another passion, especially to European destinations steeped in culture, history, and tradition. He’s also a connoisseur of good beer, especially German and other European brews, which he enjoys on occasion with friends and family. Thoughtful conversation, artful expression, and quiet moments in nature are among the things he values most.
