Amanda Smith, Corporate Paralegal

Amanda Smith assists Martensen Wright PC as a paralegal, with an emphasis on corporate formation, ongoing corporate maintenance, and civil litigation. She is responsible for monitoring legislation that impacts our client’s products or corporate processes and assists with implementing changes to contracts to comply with regulations. Amanda also ensures the timely filing of required corporate documents such as annual reports and foreign state registrations as well as drafting and filing various business entity documents for corporations, LLCs and partnerships with State agencies. In addition, Amanda assists our corporate clients with company banking matters so that our foreign-based clients have access to U.S. bank accounts.

Amanda graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and went on to receive an Associate’s Degree and Certificate in Paralegal Studies from West Valley College. Prior to joining the Martensen Wright team, she served as a litigation paralegal for more than five years. She utilizes her keen attention to detail and impressive efficiency, honed during her time in litigation, to benefit our clients in the corporate law arena. Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends and family, taking her dogs on hikes, wine tasting, and exploring all the diverse things to do in Northern California.
