Daniel is an essential part of Martensen Wright’s Corporate Team, providing white glove service to our corporate clients. He assists them with US corporate establishment, formation and maintenance. He also provides key support with mergers, dissolutions and reinstatements. He assists in various corporate filings such as foreign registrations, performs regular maintenance of our corporate books and assists our clients with US banking.

Daniel came to us after serving as a paralegal with a Civil Litigation Law Firm where he specialized in strategy development for trial proceedings, engaged in legal research, drafted motions, briefs, and memos, as well as propounded and responded to discovery requests. Prior to his employment as a paralegal, Daniel lived in Guadalajara, Mexico from 2016-2022 working as an English teacher. During that time, he grew to appreciate the local culture and traveled extensively in Mexico and South America. Daniel has had a varied employment history. He has worked as an Administrative Assistant at University of California in Davis, taught media arts to high school students in Oakland, and traveled to Zimbabwe as a volunteer AIDS relief worker. Daniel is a strong advocate for the disabled community and does outreach support work in his spare time. As a part of these efforts, Daniel worked with Assembly Member Gomes to pass an amendment to California Assembly Bill No. 668 (AB668) which provides waivers for to In-Home Supportive Services recipients who need 24-hour care, allowing them to receive personal attendant care at home and steer clear of institutionalization.

On a personal note, Daniel is a passionate visual artist with interests in photography, multi-media, video production and painting. In 2010, he worked on a documentary with Mu Films’ Emmy award winner, Deanne Borshay Liem, that aired on KQED entitled “In the Matter of Jung Hee.” The film follows a Korean adoptee hoping to reconnect with her birth mother.
