Kyle A. Wende, Attorney at Law

Kyle Wende serves Martensen Wright PC’s clients as a general business litigator and as an advisor on employment law compliance. Kyle has handled a wide variety of disputes that business-owners often face, including contract breaches, financial torts, employment discrimination, wage and hour class action, and misuse of intellectual property, through all stages of litigation, including trial. He is also experienced with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods, and often uses mediation and arbitration to resolve disputes more efficiently for his clients.

Kyle draws on a wealth of knowledge to advise businesses on employment issues. During law school, he worked at the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, where he investigated discrimination claims and assisted in the settlement of a large class action over medical leave rights. After law school, Kyle spent several years representing employee unions in both the public and private sectors. He acted as general counsel to unions in their capacity as non-profit corporations, and he litigated all manner of labor and employment disputes, under both California and federal law, on behalf of the unions and their members. Kyle then shifted his practice to management-side, representing construction and contracting companies in defense of employee claims, including defending multi-million dollar class action suits. With years of experience on how employment relationships can go wrong, Kyle now advises Martensen Wright’s employer clients on the right way to avoid those costly legal battles.
